The airline Ryanair is down about 3 percent on the Irish stock exchange after presenting traffic figures for December and commenting on the effect of several major booking sites removing Ryanair.

During the past month, the airline carried 12.5 million passengers, compared to 11.5 million in December 2022, according to Ryanair's press release. At the same time, the cabin factor decreased to 91 percent (92).

In December, several of the major booking sites removed the option to buy flights with the Irish airline. However, according to Ryanair, those bookings account for a small portion.

”"We expect this to reduce occupancy in the short term by 1-2 percent in December and January and also reduce short-term revenues as we respond by offering more low prices directly to consumers," the company writes.
