European aircraft manufacturer Airbus reports operating profit of 814 million euros for the second quarter of 2024, compared to 1,845 million euros in the same period last year.

This is stated in the company's quarterly report on Tuesday.

Sales were EUR 16.0 billion, compared to EUR 15.9 billion in the same quarter last year.

Back in June last month, Airbus announced that they had lowered their forecasts for the full year due to supply chain shortcomings, something Nyhetsbyrån Direkt reported.
