SJ continues to have problems with high sick leave rates which cause cancelled departures.

”"We are canceling around 30 departures daily and have increased the number until March," says Anton Almqvist-Källén at SJ's press service.

”"It's not an optimal traffic situation for us right now, we have big problems."”

During the Christmas holidays, SJ had major problems with staff shortages and was forced to cancel many departures.
