Finnair is forced to reduce its traffic program for the month of February due to increased sick leave. 

According to the Finnish airline, the omicron variant of the coronavirus, together with the flu season, has led to a significant increase in sick leave among staff – both at Finnair and at the company's partners. 

This means that Finnair is now forced to reduce its traffic program for the month of February by approximately 20 percent and offer customers other flight alternatives. According to the company, the measure will enable a more flexible schedule and allow the company to adapt to an expected increase in sick leave in various functions.
