The state-owned train operator SJ has also been affected by the cyber attack against the American software company Kaseya.

– The cash register in our bistro trolleys has the same software supplier as the equipment that handles card payments. Therefore, we have closed the option to pay by card, says press spokesperson Dan Olofsson.

However, SJ continues to keep the bistro cars open.

”"You can pay with Swish or with cash."”

At ten o'clock today, SJ was informed that the company was affected.

”"We have not noticed any disruptions, but have suspended the ability to pay by card because you cannot be sure that information is disclosed in connection with the transfers."”
