SJ aims to start running night trains to Berlin starting in April and throughout the summer, reports Dagens Nyheter, DN.
A formal decision has not yet been made and details remain.
”"There is a high probability that it will happen," says Dan Olofsson at SJ's press service to the daily newspaper.
SJ will then run night trains to Hamburg every day this autumn. The idea is that these trains will then continue on to Berlin. In that case, travelers can hop on the train in Stockholm at 5 p.m. and then wake up in the German capital at 9 a.m. the next day.
The fast train has previously operated the same route.
