SJ has suspended X2000 service to and from Copenhagen until the timetable change in mid-December due to a lack of functioning vehicles, reports the website Järnvägar.
While there have been delays in the reconstruction of the X2000 fleet, technical problems with the converters in the older trains have started to appear more frequently. SJ is now prioritizing domestic traffic between Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö, and Stockholm and Karlstad. Travelers to Copenhagen are referred to Öresundståg with a change in Malmö. Although SJ has only canceled departures until mid-December, it is unclear when traffic can resume.
