Now, for the first time, a direct route between Moldova and Sweden opens when the Ukrainian airline SkyUp Airlines establishes itself at Stockholm Skavsta Airport.

The new route to the Moldovan capital Chișinău will start on June 1, 2025 with two departures per week.

– We are very happy about this new establishment and to welcome the airline SkyUp and their guests to us at Stockholm Skavsta Airport. It is also extra fun that this will be the first time that a direct route connects Sweden and Moldova. We strongly believe that Moldova will be a new destination for us Nordics to discover, just as we have done with a number of other countries in southeastern Europe in recent years, says Brett Weihart, CEO of Stockholm Skavsta Airport.

The flight will be a new destination in Stockholm Skavsta Airport's year-round offering with two departures a week.

The route will be operated with a Boeing 737/700 with space for 149 passengers.
