SL removes McDonald's ongoing advertising campaign in the Stockholm metro. Reason: The text is too small, writes Dagens Nyheter.

”"I can read the smallest text without any problems, but if you have a visual impairment you may have to walk dangerously close to the edge of the platform to see what it says. Since this means there is a risk that you could fall onto the track, we have decided to take down the campaign," Claes Keisu at SL tells the newspaper.

According to him, this is the first time that text size could pose a security risk, and that SL should now review whether a minimum limit needs to be introduced.
