But there is a significant risk of difficult road conditions.
Those without power in Roslagen experienced snow and sleet overnight, which has moved south, occasionally with strong gusts of wind. However, the weather is expected to improve slightly in the early morning.
– There will be some precipitation, but it will be calmer later in the day, says Therese Gadd, meteorologist at SMHI.
Slippery warning
The low pressure area over the Baltic Sea is moving away from Sweden, towards the southeast. When the precipitation is followed by clearer weather, it will be a little colder. In many places, the temperature will be around the zero mark, which can make the roads extra slippery. In connection with better visibility, a false sense of security may arise, but the country's motorists should take it carefully.

A cold but clear day is expected for most parts of Norrland. Snow showers are expected in the mountains, but this is only a warning of worse weather towards the end of the week.
– It will be significantly more difficult at the end of the working week, when there is a risk of storms in the mountains and storm gusts east of the mountains, says Therese Gadd.
Cancelled in Jönköping County
In Jönköping County, train traffic is affected by increasing northerly winds and some precipitation in the form of heavy, wet snow during the night towards Wednesday. In addition, ferry traffic to and from Visingsö is suspended during the early morning.
Cancelled routes on Wednesday morning: Nässjö–Eksjö, Nässjö–Vaggeryd, Jönköping–Vaggeryd, Nässjö-Vetlanda. More routes may be closed at short notice. Buses will replace the cancelled train departures.
