Småland Airport is entering what is normally the airport's peak season - but right now only a few ambulance and training flights are taking off from the ground.

The restrictions on the aviation industry due to the coronavirus have hit the airport hard, which will soon need financial assistance.

”"Someone has to add money, we hope for some national support that will go to all regional airports," says the airport's CEO Ulf Axelsson.
