Class 1, 2 and 3 are a thing of the past. On Tuesday, SMHI launches its new warning system for weather warnings. From now on, it is yellow, orange and red.

The reason is that it should be easier to understand the severity of the warning.

”"It has proven to be a bit difficult to understand which was the most severe degree," says Max Lindberg Stoltz, meteorologist at SMHI.
