SMHI has issued a yellow warning for high temperatures over the weekend.

The warning applies Friday to Sunday in northern and central Kalmar County and southeastern Östergötland County.

The heat can put increased strain on the body and cause problems, especially for risk groups, writes SMHI.

”"A high pressure with warm air has grown over the southern half of the country and the heat is expected to culminate during the weekend with around 30 or just over 30 degrees during the day. At the beginning of next week, the heat will slowly subside while the weather will become more unstable," writes SMHI.
