SMHI has issued weather warnings for large parts of Sweden.

Very strong winds are expected during the day and SMHI has issued class 1 warnings in large parts of Götaland, Svealand and Gävleborg County due to the wind. Strong winds are also expected in the Lapland mountains and in several lake districts.

SMHI is also warning of "large amounts of snow" in Jämtland, Västernorrland, Västerbotten and on the coast of Norrbotten. In several places, heavy snowfall is also expected to be combined with strong winds, which is expected to lead to severe weather conditions.
