Since Vanja Nilsson chose to move on in her professional career in August last year, former CEO Hazze Sandström has served as VA while the recruitment process has been ongoing. He has been replaced by Sofie as of April 1, but is available as a mentor during the coming year.

Sofie was hired by Jönköping Airport in December last year and has until now worked alongside Hazze to prepare for the task and also to be approved as a VA and entered in the airport certificate. A certificate issued by the Swedish Transport Agency, the airport's supervisory authority, and which gives Jönköping Airport permission to carry out airport operations. In the organization, the VA is directly subordinate to the airport's CEO and is responsible for operational activities.
