In the winter of 2022, Blekinge residents can take the direct train to the Austrian Alps when Snälltåget begins operating night trains from southern Sweden.

The train passes both Alvesta and Hässleholm and goes to ski resorts such as Bad Gastain and Zell am See.

The train company is also expanding its direct trains to Berlin starting June 27, which is the day after the EU's vaccination passport is tentatively set to come into effect.
