
Southwest Airlines is at the bottom of the S&P 500 in early trading on Monday. According to CNBC, the company has canceled more than 1,800 flights over the weekend.
According to CNBC'schills Southwest Airlines attributed the canceled flights to bad weather, disruptions to related flights and staff shortages.
The stock is down about 2.5 percent in Monday's opening trade. Since the turn of the year, the stock is up just over 12 percent.
