It could be over 30 degrees in southern Sweden on Thursday.

The Swedish Transport Administration is therefore reducing the speed on certain railway routes to prevent accidents.

At high temperatures, sun bends can form, which means the rails expand and bend, increasing the risk of a train derailing.

The Swedish Transport Administration also sees a risk of bleeding asphalt and the authority urges motorists to reduce speed and keep their distance.
