SriLankan Airlines has reported revenue growth after implementing a new AI and machine learning-based Origin & Destination Revenue Management (ODRM) platform. The system enables dynamic pricing, smarter capacity optimization and an improved passenger experience with real-time seat availability and predictive analytics.
Kshanaka Saparamadu, Head of Revenue Management, says: “By leveraging the latest revenue management technology, we are strengthening our digital transformation and positioning ourselves for long-term success in modern airline sales.”
The platform is powered by PROS' Revenue Management Advantage (RMA) and Amadeus Revenue Availability and Active Valuation (RAAV), which uses AI and ML to optimize capacity, premium seats and quickly respond to market changes. The system contributed to a 13 % revenue increase in the first three quarters of the 2025-2026 financial year, among other things.
The initiative has also improved collaboration between analytics and pricing teams and was awarded the Growth Catalyst Award at the PROS Outperformer Customer Awards 2025 in Las Vegas, as well as the Silver Award in the AI and Data Science category at the National Project Management Excellence Awards 2025 in Colombo.
