Stavanger has introduced free public transport

Norway's fourth largest city, Stavanger, has introduced free public transport, reports TT.

Residents of Stavanger can download an app that provides free tickets for buses, trains and ferries in the municipality.

Even before the launch, 40,000 people had registered with the app.
