Flights to and from the Canary Islands in Spain have been canceled after storm Hermine moves in over the popular travel destination, Reuters reports.
Spain's national weather agency, Aemet, has issued a red weather warning for the islands of Gran Canaria, La Palma and El Hierro until midnight on Sunday.
A total of 34 flights are canceled from Tenerife North Airport, 22 from La Palma, 14 from El Hierro, eight from Lanzarote and four from La Gomera.
Schools in the area are closed on Monday as a safety measure.
