Stöten in Sälen is planning an investment of around SEK 120 million in its facility, with a focus on developing the area at Skidtorget. The investment includes, among other things, a new modern six-chair lift and new slopes.
The planned lift will run from Skidtorget up to the first slope and complement today's anchor lifts. The aim is to improve accessibility, increase capacity and spread skiers better across the area.
The investment is part of Stöten's long-term development plan, where the ambition is to create three ski areas, each with a modern lift. This will contribute to smoother flows in the facility and a better skiing experience for guests.
In addition to the new lift, new slopes are also planned, including a blue piste that complements the more advanced slopes in the area. The goal is to make skiing more accessible to more target groups.
If the investment receives final approval, construction could start relatively soon, with the goal of the facility being completed within the coming years.
Stöten has made several major investments in its facilities in recent years and continues to develop as one of Sweden's most expansive ski resorts.
