The company responsible for Berlin's public transport, BVC, has found a new way to calm stressed travelers, writes DW.

They offer travelers the opportunity to buy day tickets with hemp oil on them, promising a “calming effect” when eaten.

The tickets cost almost 9 euros, just over 90 kronor, and are made of edible paper and have a maximum of “three drops of hemp oil” on them.

There is no risk of getting high, as the oil does not contain THC, promises BVG.

The ticket is valid for 24 hours. “This way you can easily travel around Berlin for a whole day and then simply swallow the Christmas stress with your ticket,” the company writes.

At the same time, they emphasize that it is not a position on the issue of legalization of cannabis.

“We are against all use of drugs, whether legal or illegal. But we are open to completely harmless substances.”.
