Stromma is now selling its share of the tourist attraction A'DAM LOOKOUT in Amsterdam. The tourist attraction A'DAM LOOKOUT was founded in 2016 and Stromma was one of the founders and co-owners from the beginning.

Located on the top two floors of the A'DAM Tower in Amsterdam, A'DAM LOOKOUT is one of the largest tourist attractions outside of Amsterdam city center, with panoramic views of the city and Europe's tallest swing. In 2019, A'DAM LOOKOUT attracted almost 800,000 visitors.

The sale of the share in ADAM'S LOOKOUT is part of the action plan that Strömma prepared in the spring of 2020 to manage the tough liquidity situation that Covid-19 has caused to the tourism industry. Stromma has improved its margins for the future in 2020.

-The sale of our shares in A'DAM LOOKOUT is positive for our liquidity and gives us the opportunity to continue to focus our future investments on sustainable tourism in line with our vision and strategy. The A'DAM tower has developed incredibly positively during these years and I am convinced that A'DAM LOOKOUT will continue to be an attractive top attraction in Amsterdam, says Patric Sjöberg, CEO of Stromma Group.

Stromma's company in the Netherlands and A'DAM LOOKOUT will continue to have a strong commercial partnership. Both companies focus on creating genuine quality experiences in Amsterdam, one from the canals and the other from dizzying heights

"Our products complement each other and our continued collaboration will strengthen both of us in the future. A'DAM LOOKOUT remains an important part of Stromma's product offering to Amsterdam's tourists," says Carola Hoekstra, CEO Stromma Netherlands.

The development of the A'DAM Tower started in 2012 and at that time few saw the potential of having an observation deck on the top two floors of the tower. Stromma in the Netherlands, formerly the Canal Company, already had a good position in the city with its boat cruises and decided to be involved from the start.

-It has been great to have Stromma as a strong partner with a lot of knowledge about the tourism industry. The great thing about this attraction is that we do not have a specific target group. We welcome families, young and old, and all those from all over the world who have a swing on their bucket list, says Sander Groet, founder of A'DAM LOOKOUT
