Norwegian's total passenger traffic (RPK) rose by 9 percent in March, compared to the same month the previous year, according to the airline's monthly statistics.
Capacity (ASK) increased by 4 percent, while the load factor was 85 percent, an increase of 4 percentage points year-on-year.
Norwegian's yield, revenue per passenger kilometer, increased by 13 percent. Unit revenue rose by 19 percent.
Overall passenger traffic was up 3 percent to 1,544,000.
A calendar effect in the form of an early Easter has contributed to giving extra momentum to the month's figures, writes Norwegian.
”"The booking trend for the summer season is starting to look solid, but we expect a slightly weaker month of April, as Easter came early this year," says CEO Geir Karlsen in a press release.
