It is now meteorological summer in Sweden. It reports Klart.se.

According to SMHI's definition, a place must have an average daily temperature of at least ten degrees for five days in a row to have summer.

That has been the case in Hörby in Skåne.

It is unusual for meteorological summer to begin so early.

Only the record year 2024 (April 6) and 1906 (April 10) did summer come earlier.
