Rhodes is Europe's best holiday destination for pregnant travelers in 2026. This is according to a new analysis from JoJo Maman Bébé, which reviewed around 30 European travel destinations based on factors such as hotel standard, restaurant selection, spa, beaches, accessibility and climate.
The Greek island tops the ranking with an overall score of 7.18 out of 10. Behind its placement is a wide range of hotels, high-class beaches and a pleasant summer climate.
Rhodes offers 1,574 hotels, of which just over half are four stars or higher. Just over eleven percent of these hotels also have spa and wellness facilities. With an average summer temperature of 26 degrees, the climate is also considered more comfortable for pregnant women than many warmer southern European destinations.
The island also has an extensive restaurant selection with over 1,500 restaurants, of which more than 80 percent have a four-star rating or higher.
In second place is the Greek island of Naxos, which receives high marks for hotels, restaurants and beaches. The island has an average summer temperature of 25.3 degrees and a slightly higher proportion of four-star hotels than Rhodes.
Third place goes to Gozo in Malta. The destination combines renowned beaches, a wide range of quality accommodation and a pleasant summer climate of around 25 degrees.
