FlixBus and Swebus are becoming one today and all trips are available via FlixBus booking platforms.

During the autumn, Swebus operations will gradually be transferred to FlixBus, while operational work will be transferred to Swedish bus partners. In connection with this, the buses will gradually be painted green. FlixBus is in the final stages of partner negotiations with several well-reputed bus companies around the country and today Axelssons Turisttrafik will take over all traffic between Stockholm and Västerås. Next year, FlixBus will expand the existing Swebus network by 25 percent.

Stockholm, August 27, 2018 – FlixBus and Swebus will become one brand and integrate both companies’ bus networks to create the market’s strongest offering for long-distance bus travel in Sweden. The buses will gradually be painted green, which will be completed before the end of the year.

Peter Ahlgren, CEO of Swebus and FlixBus Norden: ”FlixBus has worked together with Swebus to develop the new timetable that applies from today. We will continue to do our best to maintain Swebus' good reputation and live up to customer expectations. The plan is also to expand the network and offer several new travel options after the autumn.”
