Swedavia turns to loss

State-owned airport operator Swedavia increased its turnover slightly in the fourth quarter of 2017, at the same time as the company turned to losses.

Sales amounted to SEK 1,466 million (1,412), an increase of 4 percent compared to the previous year. Operating profit was minus SEK 123 million (87).

The result after tax was minus SEK 144 million (47). Write-downs and disposals had a negative impact of SEK 151 million (70).

At the same time, the previous year's result was positively affected by capital gains of SEK 95 million. The number of passengers increased by 3.1 percent to 10.1 million in the quarter.

Operating costs per departing passenger increased to SEK 233.8 (225.3).
