State-owned airport operator Swedavia reports increased revenue in the first quarter compared to the same period the previous year. The operating loss increased.

During the quarter, we have also strengthened the route and destination offering and improved accessibility to, among other things, North America from Arlanda. During the summer season, our travelers will be able to choose from nearly 30 departures a week to several North American destinations from Arlanda," says Jonas Abrahamsson, Swedavia's President and CEO.
Sales rose 11.9 percent to SEK 1,443 million (1,289).
The EBITDA result was SEK 175 million, an increase of SEK 50 million compared to the previous year.
The operating profit was SEK -217 million (-215).
Adjusted operating profit was SEK -213 million (-212).
The result after tax was SEK -215 million (-199).
During the quarter, the number of passengers amounted to 6.7 million (6.7).
