Swedavia has made a misjudgment regarding staff recruitment, the company believes. Instead, travelers have been forced to queue for several hours at Arlanda.

One reason has been that Säpo's security checks on new personnel have taken a long time.

The company's CEO Jonas Abrahamsson was questioned in the Riksdag's traffic committee on Tuesday.

– What we have underestimated is the enormous challenges that it has been to recruit in line with the development of travelers and this has led to understaffing that we are trying to remedy with the available funds, says Jonas Abrahamsson. to Echo.
