Swedavia's annual and sustainability report for 2025 will be available on the company's website from 20 March. Swedavia's long-term work on sustainable profitability and operational delivery has yielded results. During the year, a positive result before tax was reported for the first time since the pandemic, while investments and planning for the Arlanda of the future continue.
-For the first time since the pandemic, Swedavia reports a positive result before tax for the full year 2025 of SEK 20 million. This is an improvement of SEK 273 million, which is an important milestone for the company, says Susanne Norman, President and CEO of Swedavia.
Net sales amounted to SEK 6,801 million. This is an increase of SEK 408 million compared to 2025. Operating profit increased by SEK 298 million and amounted to SEK 324 million.
In 2025, just over 33 million passengers travelled through Swedavia's ten airports. Traffic increased by 2.4 percent in total compared to 2024. The growth was driven by international travel, which increased by 3.2 percent, while domestic travel was on par with 2024. In October, a milestone was reached when the number of international travellers at Arlanda exceeded the corresponding level for the first time in a month compared to before the pandemic in 2019.
Interest in the Swedish aviation market is increasing. Stockholm Arlanda Airport, Gothenburg Landvetter Airport and Malmö Airport had a positive development with more destinations and increased frequencies.
In 2025, an important step was taken when the decision was made to begin detailed design for a new pier, Pier G, as well as a new baggage facility and expanded check-in capacity in Terminal 5.
