Swedavia received harsh criticism for the summer's long queues at security at Arlanda.

Now the airport manager promises that queue times will be significantly shorter this fall, reportsDagens Industri.

– Travelers at Arlanda Airport can expect normal waiting times in the future, although queues can always occur depending on the season. Our security supplier is keeping up with its staffing and we are in a completely different situation at the airport now than during the summer, says Charlotte Ljunggren to DI.

Swedavia has also chosen to remove the rule that travelers can arrive no earlier than three hours before departure.

– There is no longer any need. We feel that we are at normal capacity and we are staffed so that the flow of travelers will continue. But we are prepared to act and we will take measures if necessary, says Charlotte Ljunggren.
