Sweden is now one of the least Covid-exposed countries in Europe, writes Aftonbladet which refers to Johns Hopkins University figures on the site Our World in Data.

Sweden is currently in 40th place, among the 46 countries reported in the statistics, in terms of deaths per million inhabitants during the period November 29 to December 5. Sweden had an average of 0.4 new deaths per million inhabitants each day during the period. Hungary had the most new deaths with an average of 18.6 deaths.

In the statistics on the number of new admissions to intensive care with Covid during the period November 22 to 28, where figures from 13 countries are reported, Sweden comes in twelfth place.

In terms of the number of infected people during the same period, Sweden comes in 39th place with 187 confirmed cases per million inhabitants. Andorra reports the most infected people, where the corresponding figure is 2,397. However, how countries test and to what extent they do so differs greatly, for example, testing activities were down in Sweden for a number of weeks in November.
