Sweden moves up from sixth to fourth place, Finland is unchallenged at the top in this year's World Happiness Report. The UN-sponsored report attempts to measure happiness in the world.

It is based on Gallup surveys in which the population answered questions and rated their own, self-perceived happiness, on a scale.

Finland is number one for the seventh year and is followed by Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Israel, the Netherlands, Norway, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Australia.
