The Swedish, H&M-owned fashion brand & Other Stories is opening its first ever store at an airport and the choice has fallen on Sweden's largest. In early 2025, Arlanda passengers will be able to shop for high-quality, sustainable Swedish fashion at Marknadsplatsen, which is gradually emerging in Terminal 5 as Arlanda's largest commercial venture ever.

The range at Stockholm Arlanda Airport's Marknadsplats continues to broaden and develop. Since opening in the fall of 2023, more than a dozen new, exciting restaurants and cafés have opened their doors, along with shops such as Lakritsroten, Sweshop, World of Toys and Pocket Shop. Now it's time to introduce another addition. At the beginning of 2025, we will welcome the Swedish brand & Other Stories to Arlanda. On an area of just over 120 square meters at Marknadsplats, travelers will find a refined assortment of clothing and shoes, accessories, jewelry, underwear, swimwear and beauty products. The range is tailored specifically for the airport to meet the needs and behaviors of travelers.

– In the new shopping offering that is emerging at Arlanda, we want to focus on a broad mix of inspiring experiences and memorable visits for both our Swedish and foreign travelers. & Other Stories is an attractive clothing brand and part of Swedavia's strategy is to strengthen and promote Swedish and Scandinavian brands. We are therefore very pleased that & Other Stories has chosen to establish itself at Arlanda, says Charlotte Ljunggren, Director of Marketing and Sales at Swedavia.

The establishment of & Other Stories at Arlanda is based on the extensive partnership between Swedavia and global travel retailer Avolta AG. Margareta Le Calvé, General Manager Nordics at Avolta, is honored to have been entrusted with the opportunity to open & Other Stories at Arlanda.

– We are constantly looking for ways to improve the airport experience for our customers and we believe that a good way to achieve this is to highlight local players. As a Swedish fashion brand, & Other Stories is the perfect addition to Arlanda's new Marketplace that is currently taking shape, says Margareta Le Calvé.

Lina Söderqvist, CEO & Other Stories, is also excited about the upcoming establishment.

– We are excited about the opportunity to open a store at Stockholm Arlanda Airport in collaboration with Avolta. Our upcoming presence at Arlanda's new Market Square is a valuable opportunity for & Other Stories to connect with a global audience and offer travelers a closer look at our brand in an inspiring and dynamic environment, says Lina Söderqvist.

During the first quarter of 2025, the H&M group, under the auspices of Avolta, will open & Other Stories at Arlanda's Marknadsplats in Terminal 5.

According to the press release.
