Syria resumes flights from Damascus

Today, Syria's Damascus airport will resume international flights for the first time since Bashar al-Assad was overthrown in December, Al Jazeera reports. 

No flights have taken off since pro-Assad forces abandoned the airport in the capital on December 8.
