A female train conductor has been given notice of termination by her employer MTR, which is responsible for commuter traffic in Stockholm, after she published videos on Tiktok from inside a train cabin.

The announcement reportedly came without warning and the day after the government's directive on measures to strengthen the protection of road users and travelers against terrorist attacks. This was due to the elevated terrorist threat level.

According to a press release from the Seko Commuter Club, of which the train attendant is a member, it is believed that MTR has taken the directive "very seriously" with the notice of termination against the employee, and is now questioning the employer.

”"NN should of course have been called to a meeting in advance if MTR had any views on her films posted on Tiktok," writes Susanne Högye, chairwoman of the Seko Commuter Club.
