Train traffic between Stockholm and Gothenburg is halted due to a bridge fault in Töreboda.
– A hydraulic hose has broken and the oil has leaked out. They are on their way there to fix this and fill it with more oil. It is not possible to close the bridge, it is stuck in the open position. Therefore, there is a total stop in both directions, says Angelica Knutsson, press spokesperson for the Swedish Transport Administration.
The preliminary forecast is that traffic could be back on track by 4 p.m.
The error occurred at 12:12.
The routes affected are Stockholm C – Gothenburg C and Stockholm C- Västerås C – Gothenburg C.
