Stockholm, Scandic Continental – With a strong focus on sustainability, culture and adventure, the Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) invited Swedish travel industry representatives to an inspiring workshop at Scandic Continental in central Stockholm. The event combined B2B networking, insider tips about the destination and cultural performances that showcased Taiwan’s rich diversity – from traditional dance and music to modern creativity.

What does Taiwan have to offer tourists from Sweden?.

Taiwan actually has much more to offer Swedish tourists than many people realize. It is safe, modern, easy to travel around and full of contrasts: from futuristic cities to tropical mountains and tea plantations.

In the capital city of Taipei, futuristic architecture blends with tradition and folk life. The iconic Taipei 101 tower towers over the city, offering one of the world's most spectacular views. Just a few blocks away is Longshan Temple, where incense and prayers mingle with the sounds of mopeds and market vendors.

Foodies shouldn’t miss the city’s night markets – especially Shilin and Raohe – where you can sample local specialties like dumplings, skewers and the famous “stinky tofu.” For culture lovers, there’s the National Palace Museum, with one of the world’s largest collections of Chinese art, and trendy design districts filled with galleries, cafes and vintage shops.
