Tallink Grupp's vessel Superfast IX returns home after 15 years

Delivered by Tallink Grupp's vessel Superfast IX, currently named Atlantic Vision, back to the company at the port of Odense, Denmark. For the past 15 years, the vessel has been chartered out to Canada and operated between Newfoundland and Sydney, Nova Scotia.

The vessel completed its final voyage on the Canadian route on March 15 this year, departing Canada in early April. For the past month, the vessel has been moored at the Fayard shipyard in Denmark, where it has been prepared for handover to Tallink Grupp, ahead of the charter agreement expiring on May 14, 2024.

Superfast IX departs from Denmark today, and is expected to arrive in Tallinn on Thursday, May 16. In Tallinn, the ship will initially be berthed in the port of Paljassaare until a decision is made about the ship's next operations.
