Twelve exclusive cabins have been redesigned with furnishings from the iconic Finnish brand Marimekko, known for its characteristic patterns and colors.
The newly decorated cabins, all with private balconies, have been given a stylish makeover with Marimekko's most famous pattern, the iconic Uniquepattern. Travelers will now be greeted by bedspreads, pillows, towels, china and even wallpaper in this unique pattern.
This new experience on Silja Symphony follows the success of its sister ship Silja Serenade, where Marimekko-decorated cabins were launched back in 2023. Now both ships, which operate the Helsinki–Stockholm route, have been upgraded with these designer cabins to offer passengers a first-class experience in an elegant and comfortable environment.
Silja Symphony has a total of 34 spacious Commodore cabins on decks 10 and 11, twelve of which have now been renovated in a Marimekko theme. These cabins offer both a beautiful sea view and a private balcony.
Tallink Silja Line has a long-standing collaboration with Marimekko – a brand that is deeply rooted in Finnish design culture and which also continues to gain popularity among travelers from across Europe and Asia.
In addition to the beautiful cabins, travelers can also purchase Marimekko products on board. These include specially designed products with Marimekko Phuketpattern, which was developed exclusively for Tallink Silja Line. In connection with Silja Line's 60th anniversary, a unique version of the Uniquemug, created in the company's colors. These mugs are still used on board, including at breakfast in the ship's fine dining restaurant Bon Vivant.
