TAP Air Portugal expands its loyalty program TAP Miles&Go through a new partnership with Airbnb. Members can now earn two Miles for every euro spent on qualifying stays and experiences through Airbnb.

To collect Miles, the booking must be initiated via TAP's dedicated Airbnb page. The customer logs into their Miles&Go account and is then redirected to Airbnb to complete the booking.

“At TAP, we are constantly looking for more opportunities for TAP Miles&Go customers to both earn and spend their Miles. Airbnb offers a different way to experience a destination and we are delighted to welcome Airbnb to the TAP Miles&Go family,” says Sofia Lufinha, Chief Customer Officer at TAP Air Portugal.

International travel from Portugal is increasing

The partnership comes as international travel continues to grow strongly. According to Airbnb, international bookings by Portuguese travelers increased by 28 percent during the summer, with Madrid, London, Seville and Paris among the most popular destinations.

Meanwhile, international travelers accounted for 87 percent of guest arrivals to Airbnb accommodations in Portugal in 2025.

“We believe that every journey should open the door to the next. The partnership with TAP Air Portugal is a natural one as we share the goal of connecting people closer to the places they love,” said Jaime Rodríguez de Santiago, Managing Director of Airbnb in Spain and Portugal.

Strengthens TAP's loyalty program

Through this partnership, TAP is broadening the opportunities to collect Miles beyond the flight itself. TAP's network includes more than 90 destinations in Europe, Africa, North America and South America.

The airline also offers a stopover program that allows long-haul travelers to stay in Lisbon or Porto for up to ten days at no additional cost to the airfare.
