Taxi app service Lyft is taking on its rival Uber and is now introducing a temporary fuel surcharge. The surcharge will be added soon, reports Engadget.
It is not known how large the fuel surcharge will be. It is also not known whether it will include electric vehicles and how long it will be levied.
Uber will introduce a fuel surcharge in the US starting Wednesday of 45-55 cents. Uber Eats delivery costs will also be increased by 35-45 cents.
