A sensor fault on one of the Gotland ferries caused long waiting times for passengers on board during the afternoon. An hour after the boat arrived in Visby, the problem was still not resolved, and many passengers were still on board.

– The sensor error has occurred at the ramp on the bow. Right now the ship is turning so that cars can be unloaded at the stern instead, said Håkan Johansson, CEO of Destination Gotland when the error occurred.

Johansson estimates that there were around a hundred cars that were stuck on board. Just an hour after the fault was discovered, the passengers were able to disembark.
