Tel Aviv’s Pride celebration is considered the largest in the Middle East, and on June 8th, the city’s famous Pride parade was held for the 25th time. The following day, the big ”After Pride” party was held in Ganne Yehoshua Park, where Eurovision winner Netta Barzilai and other local artists performed on the largest stage ever built in the park. Along with a series of other events and parties, this became the largest Pride weekend ever in Tel Aviv, with over 200,000 participants. 

“Pride weekend began with a clear message for everyone: we are all equal, we are all human, and we all deserve to love who we want without fear. Happy Pride to you all,” said Ron Huldai, mayor of Tel Aviv-Yafo, during a speech before the parade began.

Pride events in Tel Aviv have become a beloved and enduring tradition since their inception in 1988. Every year, hundreds of thousands of residents and LGBTQIA+ people gather to proudly walk side by side with tens of thousands of visitors from around the world to highlight the ongoing fight for equal rights.
