Telecom operator Telia becomes SJ's new communications partner and will deliver a comprehensive solution for mobile connectivity, IoT and switching services. The agreement covers the entire train fleet and aims to strengthen operational reliability and crisis preparedness.
Telia also connects SJ's wifi in the Nordic countries and Germany and provides a preparedness platform for rapid crisis communication. The agreement runs for four years with the possibility of extension up to eight years. No financial details were given.
