Iran is indicting ten officials in the case related to the downing of a Ukrainian passenger plane on January 8, 2020. All 176 people on board were killed, several of whom were Swedes or had residence permits in Sweden. The information comes from the state news agency Isna.
About a month ago, Iran published a crash report, in which the downing was said to be due to incorrectly set radar and an error by an air defense operator.
The Iranian Accident Investigation Commission's report was rejected as inadequate by, among others, Canada, where many of the victims came from.
