The nominations for this year's Great Tourism Award are now complete. Here we meet actors who, with strong commitment, a focus on sustainability and the ability to think new things, inspire and show the way for the future of the tourism industry.

The prize is being awarded for the 32nd year in a row. It is awarded to an activity that contributes to the development of the Swedish tourism industry in an innovative and sustainable way, and that actively works to spread knowledge in the area.

The nominees offer visitors a variety of experiences – from magnificent natural experiences and world-class culture to award-winning food and drink, unique accommodations and inspiring meeting places. Together, they reflect the breadth, creativity and power of the Swedish tourism industry.
– This year's nominees demonstrate innovative thinking and a strong drive to help shape the places of the future – for people to live, work and visit, says Katrien Vanhaverbeke, chairwoman of the Foundation for the Advancement of Knowledge in Tourism.

– At the same time, they play an important role in educating and disseminating knowledge in a variety of areas and strengthen the role of the tourism industry as a knowledge player that supports society.
