This summer, the Ride is back. The popular bus line between Varberg and Åkulla bokskogar runs between June 13 and August 14. With the line, you can discover the various attractions and nature reserves around Åkulla by bus. It runs in a round trip that starts and ends at Varberg's bus terminal. The entire trip takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes.

– It feels great that together with our partners we can resume this popular and much-appreciated summer tour and that our travelers can once again get out and experience the surroundings of Åkulla, says Peter Gyllander, press and information manager at Hallandstrafiken.

The ride makes it easy and sustainable to reach Åkulla's popular tourist destinations by public transport. You hop on and off as you wish along the line. Simply hop on – hop off. You can ride the entire ride or ride part of it, stop, experience it and then continue on. With the ride, you just hop off – or on – whenever you feel like it. There is also a pre-recorded guide that you can listen to if you are curious about what is whizzing past outside the window.

The ride will return in a new guise. Those who remember the ride will remember that it was seen. It will be seen again this time, in a new design. The blue color of Hallandstrafiken, a new type of bus and the attractions at the location have inspired the choice of design.

Hallandstrafiken's regular tickets are valid on the Ride, including the Summer Ticket (from June 15) and the Senior Ticket.
